About
The House of SEMRĀ
The Founder
Art and industry, together.
SEMRĀ was founded by a professional gemologist and jewelry designer with over 25 years of experience in New York's Diamond District. But the foundation came earlier — in fine art.
Trained at the Art Students League of New York in painting, sculpture, and mixed media, the founder's approach to jewelry is visual first. Design comes from an artist's eye: composition, balance, the way light moves across a surface. Then industry expertise takes over — gemology, production workflows, and the technical precision that turns a beautiful sketch into a piece that can be worn for decades.
SEMRĀ exists because these two worlds rarely meet. Most fine jewelry is designed by marketing teams and built in factories. SEMRĀ is different: one designer, one vision, one standard — from concept to completion.
What We Believe
Our Values
Quality Over Quantity
We make fewer pieces, better. No mass production, no warehouse inventory. Every piece is created when ordered — with intention and care.
Modern Ethics
Lab-grown diamonds are the future. They're chemically identical to mined diamonds, with none of the environmental or ethical compromises. It's the intelligent choice.
Designed to Be Worn
Jewelry should live on your body, not in a drawer. Every piece is engineered for daily wear — comfortable, durable, and quietly confident.
No Trends, No Logos
We don't chase seasons. We don't print our name on the outside. SEMRĀ pieces are designed to be timeless — to mean more as years pass, not less.
Materials
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds.
They have the same chemical composition, the same hardness, the same brilliance. The only difference is origin. Lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled environments — without mining, without displacement, without the human cost of extraction.
SEMRĀ works exclusively with lab-grown diamonds because it's the right choice for modern luxury. You get a superior stone at better value, with none of the ethical baggage. That's intelligence, not compromise.
